Why is your marinade so different?

Tastefully Done Marinade has a special unique “liquid” blend of quality ingredients that balances the gamey taste in wild game without over-powering the natural flavors unlike all the thousands of injectables and dry rubs on the market today that just try to mask the taste. This unique blend creates a perfect savory balance of flavor and tenderness.

  • No need to tenderize your meat
  • No need to add any extra flavors or seasonings
  • No need to soak your meat in buttermilk or salted brine to tame the gamey taste

Why does your marinade contain a lot of fat?

This is one reason why we are heads above other marinades. We specifically designed our marinade to contain fat to add flavor and bind the marinade to the meat as it is marinating in the refrigerator . This will stabilize and infuse the meat evenly with the liquid marinade. When you sear your meat on the grill the fat will slowly cook off while effortlessly basting your wild game meat. Leaving you with juicy, tender and delicious wild game meat every time.

What flavor is your original marinade?

Tastefully Done Marinade “Original” has a balanced flavor of warm brown sugar blended with a subtle peppery infusion bringing out only the best taste in wild game, one that tenderizes and compliments wild game perfectly.

What flavor is your spicy marinade?

Tastefully Done Marinade “Spicy” brings on the heat! If you are looking for a bold balanced flavor this ones a winner. Our spicy is not as sweet as our original and adds an additional kick. Bring the heat and tame your game with this heat infused marinade.

Will your marinade also tenderize my meat?

Yes, our marinade was specifically designed to cut out the extra steps of tenderizing your meat. If you find that you have a particularly tough cut of meat then just marinate the meat a little longer, it can marinate safely in the refrigerator for up to 5 days before grilling.

How much meat will one jar marinate?

Being hunters we know the value of putting a good amount of meat on the table so we specifically selected a 16oz jar to marinate 3 to 4 pounds of meat at a time.

How long should I marinate my meat?

Since we don’t use any preservatives, the herbs and seasonings will collect on the bottom and around the lid and some ingredients will clump together so we recommend that you use the whole jar at once and marinate in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 days before grilling.

NOTE: If you don’t want to grill all your meat at once, you can put your raw marinated meat into Ziploc bags and freeze. We recommend that you let your meat marinate for 3 days before freezing. This is a quick easy way to have single or double servings available.

Are there any preservatives in the marinade?

Absolutely Not! Our marinade is 100% natural. We realize you take pride in providing your family with quality meat and would hate to have it poisoned by preservatives.

What is the shelf life of your marinade?

Our marinade has a hefty shelf life of three years or more. Please make sure to check the ink jet stamp on your jar.

What allergens does your marinade have?

We realize that some people have food allergies and we want to address them here. Our marinade does contain milk however it is gluten free.
